In 2012, Julia moved home to PEI and started working with her mother’s ladies boutique, JEMS. She quickly fell in love with the look on customer’s faces when they saw themselves in the mirror and smiled at what they were seeing.
A World traveller for over a decade her exposure to global styles and fashion has only reiterated that ‘anything goes’ and if you own it you can make anything work!
Always an advocate for individuality and self expression Julia’s personal style has and will never been confined to trends. She is a true believer that everyone has the right to feel confident, and owning your style can be a big part of that process!

Bianca is digital marketing and creative director from Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. We know her as Queen B. She is an amazing local influencer, community organizer, and co-founder of the Black Collective Media. Creative director of the web series T is for Té lunched for Black History Month. B is part of our amazing team here at Jems Boutique, brand ambassador for Discover Charlottetown, and she does social media for BIPOCUSHR, and other local businesses and organizations in town. Also, she has collaborated with brands in PEI and other provinces. Recently, she was social media manager of Black Culture Society for Black History Month 2022.
